The Pakistan Senate passed a resolution condemning the murder of Sri Lankan citizen Priyantha Kumara.

Leader of the House Dr. Shehzad Wasim presented a unanimous resolution on the murder of Sri Lankan citizen Priyantha Kumara. The resolution states that our religion has nothing to do with such incidents.

The Chairman Senate said that a delegation of the Senate would go to Sri Lanka to offer condolences to the Sri Lankan citizen.

Earlier, speaking on the Adjournment Motion, Senator Raza Rabbani said that a certain thinking was nurtured in the time of Zia-ul-Haq. Outside culture was brought in to suppress local languages and cultures. Implementation of the National Action Plan is essential.

Azam Nazir Tarar said that intolerance is on the rise in our society. This is the social apathy that everyone has to fight against.
